On the first two stages of the six-day tour, they traversed the Alpenbrevet passes Gotthard and Lukmanier. The route gave the 14-strong Wheels of Motion team a real taste of the Alpenbrevet air, particularly on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the detailed planning of the tour began, Michael contacted me to ask if it would be possible to start their tour in Andermatt and ride it as part of the Alpenbrevet,\u201d recalls Patrick Huber, Alpenbrevet Project Manager. \u201cI didn\u2019t need much thinking time before the concept of the Alpenbrevet Hero Tour was born,\u201d Huber continues. Special start numbers were made without delay for the Wheels of Motion Tour and distributed along with an Alpenbrevet jersey to the participants at the start. \u201cSeeing those smiling faces as we handed out the start numbers was priceless for me,\u201d says the Alpenbrevet Project Manager happily. The team behind Alpenbrevet has contributed to a great sense of achievement and many moving moments. We received a very warm welcome in Andermatt and our project for people with mental and physical difficulties was approached with sensitivity. Participating in the Alpenbrevet was a highlight for our members.
